Jim Beckwith is a singer with a unique and compelling voice; a soulful texture that draws on influences from jazz and pop to R&B and voices from around the world. His voice has been called 'a male Sade' and Placido Domingo, Jr. called it something "like a refined Sting". Even so, he shows up with a voice all his own, and lyrics that make you think and feel. As a solo performance he'll usually do finger-style acoustic guitar, but don't be surprised if he pulls out a drum or bass to sing along wit
